I’m in a free trial right now and it complements some of these other tools tremendously. It’s a website, not an app, but works well on mobile.
I just complained about subscriptions above, but I’m on the fence about subscribing to the service offered at. The price is quite reasonable for so many features you would normally find in more costly astro software. If you decide to pursue astrology as an interest and have an iPad, it may be worth investigating. It would probably overwhelm a total beginner and doesn’t include any interpretative material, just tons of ways to view/configure charts and easily move back and forth through time to view transits. I also recently splurged $20 on Astroconnexions, an iPad only app, and it has been excellent. If you are liking it, you might have the winner for you already in hand. I passed on TimePassages because it seemed redundant and my initial testing of the others struck me more positively, but I think it is probably comparable, and maybe superior if you pay for the pro version. I’ve purchased a few of the add ons but the pricing is reasonable (and not subscription based, hate that with fire).

I’m having good luck with Time Nomad and Astro Future, both iOS apps (but may be on android as well). I’m returning to astrology as in interest, I’d say my knowledge is intermediate and application is somewhere between beginner and intermediate.
